Lion/Lamb

It snowed here on Friday. Snowed. And yet, spring has mysteriously withstood her ground and forced her way into the world. Behold, the bloomin' tree in our backyard (say it with an English accent):

And, with a little bit of bloomin' luck, we'll have crocus and iris joining these daffodils shortly:

And, of course, the front yard:

Notice the lovely primroses, daffodils, and pansies. I worked hard on this, people! Just so I would have something to look at when I came home other than the overgrown lawn!

In all seriousness, it is really nice to see some signs of spring. Now if it would only stop raining, we could cut the lawn :-)

Finally, I want to wish you all (all four of you) a very happy Easter! I hope it was filled with love, chocolate, and cute dogs in bunny ears. Meet Buster Bunny:

I am so excited!!! You posted! And your yard does look lovely. I love seeing all of the flowers poke their heads out of the ground this time of year. I can't believe it snowed over there. It's been cold here, but no snow. Happy Easter!

Buster looks so cute! And your yard looks nice - I'm jealous... our yard's a mess right now.

Your yard does look great! I know you have worked on it long and hard and love to do it. It will be bloomin' soon even more. The tree has a beautiful color too. Nothing compares to Buster Bunny however. What a crack up. Hope your holiday was fun as well.
it snowed today most of the day although it was slushy too. big fat flakes though with lots a water in them.
Dr. Dowlatdad has announced his retirement so we took pictures of us in that weather too. I think the hood on my coat covered my face. I will be the mystery manager...
