big baby boy

11 pounds, 10 ounces at 3.5 weeks... if Charlie continues at this rate, he'll weigh over 50 pounds by his first birthday!

I suppose this explains why my boobs constantly hurt: it's tough to keep up with the feeding demands of such a large child.

Our screamer is healthy, except for some troublesome diaper rash and a belly button that is bordering on herniated. Mom and dad, however, are exhausted.

That is one fine feeding machine, that Charlie. He is definitely eating well. And woohoo to your ability to feed this eating machine. But he is happy and thriving. Great job!! Okay at the expense of sleeping, but you are contributing to the food chain, albeit his. He is wonderful and you are amazing parents. Keep up the good work. It will taper off at some point. I promise.....

Oh did I forget to tell you that Tony thrived as well but he did actually plateau and walked early which you may be pleasantly surprised at what a wonderful thing that is.....
Okay, enough sarcasm...

Big babies rule! Ruary is already above his birth weight after a week. I am envisioning having to order special size 17 shoes someday!

Sorry about the boobs... I feel your pain, literally. I am now chained to the pump for icky reasons, but I feel like I am ALWAYS making food for this kid. Hang in there, you're my role model!
