Why we love this dog...

So here is a video of Buster I took this morning. In case you can't hear me explaining, he will pick up his toys, which are completely covered in snow, and throw them because the snow is so cold it feels like they are biting him. It is pretty funny. Also, you get to see how much snow we got last night. As of about 3pm yesterday, we didn't have any on the ground. Apparently, it isn't supposed to get above freezing until Thursday or Friday this week. Hopefully, the streets stay passable.

Enjoy!

Very cute. I love the sounds in the background. You guys have an extraordinary amount of snow!! Does he stay out very long?

He will stay out for a couple hours at a time without much problem, but, as cold as it is, he wants to come in after about 20 minutes. Last night, he was quite content to be curled up on the deck over about 4" of snow.

Bisous

How exciting that we got to hear a little Charlie noise, too. :-)

That's so funny about Buster! Kara feels that way about playing with jalapeno peppers. They're toys that play back!

Perdita rolled in the 1/2 inch or so of snow we got like it was a dead seagull. She had a fabulous time. It was particularly exciting because last year, she put one paw in the snow and stepped back with a big, "Oh, I don't THINK so"...

Stay warm and drive safe. We're counting on seeing you in just over a week!

Scout is used to snow since she is old and jaded, but Dill still thinks it's weird. When the heavy stuff started coming down, he barked at it like he barks at the squirrels at the window. He's not as smart as his older sister, but luckily he is handsome.
