Watch Out, He's Mobile!

I'm not going to lie, the video here is probably pretty boring to most of you, but I post it for the grandparents' sake. I purchased the walker on Friday, and with the addition of little, flexible, leather shoes for Charlie's feet, he is beginning to scoot around alright. I think that once he gets a little bit taller, he'll have even more fun. Though he clearly loves it now. And he really did scoot around a bit more than the video implies.

For Ruary, nothing matches the joy of being upright and using his legs. Looks like Charles shares those feelings... I think they get frustrated having to rely upon others for their mobility, and the walkers and jumpers allow them to gain a bit of control.

How is Buster doing with Charles being at floor level? The dogs thought it was pretty weird when Ruary started using the jumper.

Charlie is just so incredibly adorable! Those scooters are such great fun for kids and before you know it he'll be zooming like Leland to try flying down the stairs.

We're sure looking fwd to coming up in a couple of days and then again for the T-Festival/Paccar open haus. ...luv, Dad R

I put some treats on the tray for Buster and he walked right up and ate them. I don't think he cares much about Charles being right there... it's as though Charlie is just background noise for the moment. I keep telling Buster that this whole "baby" thing will pay off for him in a big way when we start finger foods.

I agree, Charles is very cute in the walker. It looks great and maybe he will burn more calories, be exhausted and sleep longer.... okay, maybe I am dreaming, but he looks great upright. Joe was looking for his birth certificate recently and found a picture that looks just like Charlie. So cool. And to think I thought he was all Holeman......

Mom,

That doesn't surprise me. I see Dad in Charlie's smile every day. It's pretty awesome.

Et voilà, c'est le début. Ce petit "play boy" va bientôt aller en boite.....et tomber toutes les filles. Trop mignon.
